Jackson and Razor-Back Tools at World of Concrete

Celebrating milestone anniversaries and showcasing new and always popular tools, the AMES Companies’ Jackson Professional Tools and Razor-Back Professional Tools teamed up at the annual World of Concrete event, which took place January 19 to 21, 2026, in Las Vegas.

What Is World of Concrete?

The only international tradeshow devoted to both the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries, World of Concrete is a multifaceted event, with outdoor and indoor exhibitor booths, educational opportunities and exciting competitions.

Jackson wheelbarrows and Razor-Back tools were used by professionals from around the world as they participated in World of Concrete’s 24th Annual Bricklayer 500 competition. It brings top masons and their tenders to showcase their skills building brick walls topped off by judging, prize awards and the title of “World’s Best Mason.” The AMES Companies participated with a booth tent on the outdoor arena and have provided Jackson wheelbarrows and Razor-Back tools for this event since its inception.

New this year were a branded tent, display of tools and wheelbarrows, and a market research survey conducted on site with professional end-users for product feedback so that Razor-Back and Jackson can continue making products that work for them.

“We’re working on innovations all the time,” said Chris Frew, Vice President of Sales for the AMES Companies.

Jackson wheelbarrows celebrate 150 years in 2026, and while they’ve always been reliable and tough, they now have leg stabilizers and optional flat-free tires at the request of masons and other professionals. Razor-Back, 90 years old in 2026, has also innovated with input from the pros, including dual rivets on the shovels’ sockets.

“They’re the best shovel in the world when you’re working with the wheelbarrow,” Frew said of Razor-Back and Jackson tools. “They’re perfect partners.”

Jackson Professional Tools is celebrating its 150th anniversary by giving away an ATV.

During the busy two days, the AMES Companies also kicked off a Jackson Professional Tools ATV sweepstakes, which will conclude at the end of May.
